Piękny widok z tarasu.

The owner did the interior design himself. It has a very Scandinavia and Sri Lankan vibe. Very good and firm bed. Very nice view from room and terrace. The breakfast is great. The accommodation is a few kilometer from the center of Kandy. It’s very quiet. We slept very well.

The property was really clean and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at this hotel was the best during our trip. We also enjoyed the pool with the beautiful scenery view of the mountains and hills.

The serene, secluded setting, away from the main town and that was exactly what I was looking for, surrounded only by the soothing sounds of nature and birdsong. Wi-Fi is not available, which was perfectly fine for me, as it added to the peaceful, unplugged experience. The staff were incredibly courteous, prompt, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special mention to Mr. Inthizar, the owner and host, whose warmth, helpfulness, and genuine hospitality truly set this place apart. He went above and beyond, not only ensuring our stay was comfortable, but also helping with taxis, sharing local tips, and even guiding us during our trip after we had checked out. If I could, I’d give this place 11 out of 10 stars. Highly recommended for anyone seeking calm, scenic, and heartwarming hospitality away from city’s chaos.

The venue, arrangement, food and hospitality were all top tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

Misty Hills Lakeview Lounge is extremely well located, within easy walking distance of Kandy Lake, the Temple of the Tooth, the cultural dance show, restaurants and laundry services. From the moment I arrived, I received a very warm and genuine welcome. This is a lovely family-run guesthouse with a beautiful view over Kandy. The hosts gave me many excellent tips and useful information about Kandy and the rest of my trip. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, comfortable and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh, natural and varied products. What really makes this place special is the hospitality. I was treated like a true member of the family. They genuinely cared about my well-being and went above and beyond, even after my departure. They picked me up from the bus stop, helped with my laundry when I was returning late from visits, and drove me to the bus station on departure — all without asking anything in return. The whole family is incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming, while always being respectful and not intrusive. This was truly my favorite place during my stay in Sri Lanka.
