It was the most wonderful place, a very special place, very calm, it felt very personal and exclusive The rooms were much more than just a room, having your own front door straight into the garden and pool area, they were incredibly clean and the bathroom is such a treat, it really connects you to the nature all around, absolutely fantastic and super clean also, great shower, very comfy large bed. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and the food is fabulous, as in the rest of Sri Lanka and indeed anywhere, the local Sri lankan dishes were definitely the best and I would suggest people choose these, taste and presentation was superb. We would definitely love to come back

Kamal, the host, is so welcoming and nice. He was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions I had or help when I had a question. The breakfast was amazing and he set out food for the animals while I ate so I watched a hornbill, 2 peacocks, and a monkey as I enjoyed my breakfast! The room is clean and the property has a beautiful, peaceful garden to enjoy. It was a wonderful experience and one I would recommend to anyone.

Great location in natural surroundings, I had a comfortable and clean room, and very helpful service from the family. Would highly recommend.

We had a perfect stay at the Nice View Lodge. just in front of our balcony they placed some fruits for the birds - this was a perfect spot for the after-breakfast tea :) the owner helped us with all our queries. it was super!

Nastanitev Nimsara Lodge Sigiriya je 3,5 km od znamenitosti skala Sigiriya in nudi vrt, teraso ter sobno postrežbo. The family that owns the apartments is incredibly friendly and always available if you need anything. We are truly grateful to have met them and stayed at their place. The room was clean, with enough space for two large suitcases and three backpacks. Traveling with a child, we especially appreciated how much she enjoyed exploring their yard and the surroundings. Breakfast was delicious, and Nimsara’s mom always made sure to prepare something suitable for our little girl as well. Just a few minutes away, there are several great restaurants—especially Wihara Restaurant, where you must try their curry and kottu. There is also an emergency clinic nearby; our child had contact with a caterpillar, so we went for advice, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Before visiting Pidurangala Rock, I read online that it’s best to go with a guide (especially with a child) and that we would need headlamps or flashlights. In reality, the path is well-lit, and no extra assistance is needed, even if you're not in great shape. We had asked Nimsara’s brother to accompany us since we weren’t aware of this, and we are very grateful for his help—such a caring family! Yes, you may find a few frogs in the bathroom, but remember, you're in nature! They won’t jump on you or bother you—they just stay in their place. We had a wonderful experience at Nimsara Lodge and would love to visit again!

An incredible place literally in the middle of the jungle. We were charmed by the place, which was surrounded by greenery and tranquility. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The hosts were extremely kind, warm and hospitable. They sent us off with a rich and very tasty breakfast. We regret that we only stayed for one night and hope to come back again someday.

Nastanitev Sun and Green Eco Lodge - Dambulla se nahaja v mestu Dambulla in nudi zunanji bazen, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje, teraso ter razgled na vrt. This has been easily the best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far. We booked one night and stayed four! The garden was like a paradise. Great pool and the couple who run the place were just the top! Warm, friendly, helpful with everything we asked. I cannot find enough superlatives to describe our stay. And don’t let me start about the home cooked meals… THANK YOU!!!

Everything was perfect—cozy and felt just like home. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Anil and his family were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The warm atmosphere and their genuine care made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!
