From the moment we arrived, we absolutely loved our stay here. Fred, the owner, built this Ecolodge himself with a clear mission: to be 100% sustainable. Every aspect of the property reflects that goal—everything is green, circular, and thoughtfully designed. The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

This has become one of my favourite destinations during my trip to Sabah, Borneo. The moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff and were offered refreshments like tea, fruit and other nice sweets. The room was spacious and beautifully designed and it made me feel at home. I also appreciated that the staff already turned on the AC which made the arrival process even better. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and wish we could have spent another night if it was up to my travel itinerary. Moreover, we were able to do our laundry here and the staff folded and ironed it without any surcharge, such kindness! The food was very good including both dinner and breakfast, it was like my grandma would have made it. Overall, I would come back here again if I am ever given the opportunity.

Nachází se na vrcholu 100 metrů kopce s výhledem na přírodní rezervaci Kinabatangan, Last Frontier Boutique Resort se nachází v Bilitu, 2 hodiny jízdy od krásného Sandakanu. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

The attention to detail and care taken of the guests was exceptional - our guide was the best, what a great stay.

The place has a great view and cosy. Best parts staffs were swift and efficient to help out when in need.

Skvělá průvodkyně Linda se snažila vždy při každé cestě na lodi najít zajímavá zvířata. Hned u hotelu dokonce přišli orangutani. Viděli jsme také slony, krokodýly a mnoho druhů opic. V rámci pobytu jsme dostávali výborné lokální jídlo. Ubytování je fakt adventure (bez klimatizace) ale opravdu vynikající a přírodní zážitek! Jeden z nejlepších zážitků z Borna.

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort se nachází v destinaci Sepilok v oblasti Sabah a poskytuje neplacené soukromé parkoviště a vířivku. V ubytování se podává snídaně. Great place to stay, good food, very nice stuff!:)

Nulu View Cabin se nachází v destinaci Kundasang. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Not only was the view from the room amazing, but the lady checking us in and out was so kind and helpful.

Maglami-lami Water House se nachází v destinaci Semporna a nabízí ubytování s balkonem. K dispozici je vlastní koupelna s kompletním vybavením včetně bidetu a pantoflí. I stayed here with my family, on my first trip to Sempurna. Had high expectations after seeing a lot of pics from Sempurna and they did not disappoint. The check in and drop off were seamlessly arranged. They also helped arrange our tour while we were there. The first day we went sea walking and the next day we went island hopping with a good amount of time spent snorkelling. There are also activities arranged near the water house, we did a bit of kayaking around the water house. The rooms are clean. The staff are very kind and helpful with good karaoke and music after dinner. Being in the sea, the sea food served during the buffet dinner was really good. This is a good place to take fabulous photos and also to soak in the goodness of the sea and nature. Sempurna was a lovely place, and I met a lot of interesting people. It's not crowded like KK and therefore you get to really enjoy all the sea activities at a pace we find good. The people like all in South East Asia are very kind, welcoming and warm. I'm sure I won't have any second thoughts to choose Maglami-lami Waterhouse if we ever plan another trip to lovely Sempurna.
