With Eros Shopping Centre reachable in 19 km, Windhoek Game Camp offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. We booked for our last night of holiday , as it is only a short drive to the airport from the property. Our tented cabins were spacious and featured a lovely balcony area . We pre booked dinner , service and menu choice was very good , as was breakfast :) The pool area is rather special as it over looks a waterhole which is visited by animals on the reserve , including giraffes.

Was given a free upgrade. Great surroundings. Spacious rooms with great view though you might be disturbed by the gophers when you step out to the porch. Lovely products and dinner. When putting the name into GPS remember to put in Namib Naukloft Lodge. "Soft adventure camp" will lead you way way offroad.

Auas Safari Lodge is situated 45 km outside of Windhoek. Guests can explore the wildlife surrounding them on daily game drives, guided hiking trails and bird watching expeditions. Amazing staff; great breakfast and dinner; comfortable beds. Peaceful setting and luck with seeing animals. Great game drive and massages.

Breakfast also, tea, coffee or hot chocolate was served outside our fantastic rooms half an hour before breakfast was served. So one could sit and bask in the early morning sun while viewing the beautiful garden and surroundings. Freshly baked homemade bread, jams, rusks, scrambled eggs, bacon...all you could ever wish for.
