Everything worked as expected. Checking is was really easy and so was agreeing on the time as we needed to check in relatively late. The house was clean and functional. There were some nice perks like the BBQ by the house and lake, the possibility of taking a rowing boat by the lake and quite many hiking / nature experience around.

This is so worth the money if you love travelling somewhere in the wild and have a private place to relax and enjoy all the nature around you. This place is older and has that beautiful cabin look. It has a tv and everything a cabin needs. Awesome stay! Even though it has an "outside toilet" that is inside and looks like a normal bathroom it doesn't smell bad at all! This is a place I found to love. There is lots of beautiful places to walk. I would love to stay here longer. The owner or owners is super nice and helpful and so nice to talk to! We could use boats and fishing rods for free and we had a super nice stay. It's quiet but still not too far away from Kristiansand. Nature around here is beautiful

Good sized comfortable cabin with everything you'd need and a nice deck overlooking the river (& main road but not super busy/loud).

Set in Birkeland and only 31 km from Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park, HagestadHytteutleie Strandheim offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The owners were really helpfull. Our dog hurt himself during a hike and they helped us to find a vet nearby. We could charge our car at the cabin as well. If we're back in the same area, we will definitely come back.
