The breakfast was tasty. A cute small lamb hotel in the backyard was a nice bonus 😀

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements. Everything was over my expectations. The lodge is beautiful, exactly like in the pictures, the dogs are cute, the staff very friendly.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. Perfect stay in the Arctic Circle where we were transported into another world. Everything is just… magical. The whole area was covered in thick blanket of snow and we got to see the elusive Northern Lights at its very best, on our first night. We stayed for 3 nights and also did dog-sledding while it was snowing. There is nothing we would change about our trip. Everyone there is really friendly and you are just really well taken care of. Highly recommend.

There are chickens one can feed and, of course, there is possibility to meet the dogs who are super friendly. There is small shop where it is possible to buy handmade jewelery and other beautiful things. Higly, highly and one more time highly reccomend.
