The location is great, about a 15 minute walk to the square and is also situated next to the lookout trail. highly recommend staying here and being part of the growth of this place.

We loved that the Ecolodge was out of the city of Huaraz & that all we could hear was the sound of the river. We loved the room & the hammocks in the chill area in the garden. We also loved hanging out with the dogs, the cat & the chicken 😃. The breakfast was great & the family was super friendly & helpful. Walking us to the lodge in the dark & even coming with us into town at 4.30am to make sure we got the right bus for our hike to Laguna 69.

Eveything was great! Staff were very considerate with allergies and super helpful with transport and giving recommendations. The place is magical with amazing location close to hikes, warm and comfy beds and cute alpacas.

Casa Pukayaku Lodge has been the best place I have stayed throughout my travels in Peru. It is a wonderful place to relax, has beautiful views, amazing food, very clean, and has the best host! Beilssa and her husband were so accommodating we felt at home right away.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, The Lazy Dog Inn is situated 7 km from Huaraz, and 3,650 metres above sea level. Almost all units include a balcony and/or patio. This was perfect for our stay - we wanted some peace and quiet away from Lima where we live, and this was exactly what we wanted. There were other guests who did some amazing trekking too, so there is something for everyone here. I had a lovely horse ride with Wayne, one of the owners. Ideallic. Wayne and his wife Diana, who are Canadian, are wonderful hosts. The food is brilliant, worthy of the best restaurants in Lima (and dinner is included, which we didn't realise and was an amazing bonus). Our cottage had a wood fire too, which made it very cosy.

Cuesta Serena is a boutique hotel offering accommodations with free WiFi access in common areas and mountain views in Anta-Huaraz. The views from the hotel are amazing, you feel hugged by the mountains. I booked a short stay to relax before going to a conference. I also booked massages and Reiki. Truly a relaxing experience and I would definitely go back.
