We had an amazing stay at Casa Kukama, which is located a bit outside of Iquitos in the small village of Santo Tomas. We loved the authentic Amazon experience we had together with the hosts. Pablo and Lorena were incredibly welcoming and we learned a lot from them. The lodge is very cozy.

With river views, PuraChata Ecolodge is set in Iquitos and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

With mountain views, CAMUNGO jungle Lodge in indigenous community ALL INCLUSIVE is set in Puerto Franco and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden and terrace. The tambo was extremely comfortable. I had plenty of room, a desk to do some work and two hammocks out the back with mosquito net protection to relax with the sounds of the jungle

With garden views, Intillama Jungle Lodge EIRL is situated in Paucarpata and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden and terrace.

The Jacamar Lodge Expeditions is located on the banks of the Amazon River, in the middle of the jungle and 120 km from downtown Iquitos. Danny was the best tour guide. He took good care of us and gave us the best jungle experience according to our needs. We saw so many different animals (sloth, baby alligator, piranhas, dolphins, birds, wolf spider, firefly and many others) during a short stay, thank you Danny! Didn’t got mosquito bites at the lodge at all, (but be prepared at night in the jungle🤫). Last but not the least, the food at the lodge was fresh and simply delicious (I tried some fancy restaurants at Cusco but I liked the food at the lodge more!)

With garden views, Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge - ALL INCLUSIVE is located in Nauta and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is provided. Daniel was the best guide and very entertaining. The location and event planning was superb and exciting

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. Lovely setting that felt safe but also connected to nature. You’ll automatically get signed up for excursions with a guide shared between you and anyone else who speaks your language that arrived that day. About 1 out of 3 excursions will be hiking and 2 out of 3 will be by boat. 4d3n was perfect, but the most exciting excursions were captured in the 3d2n plan, and if you stay longer you spend a night camping. Food is buffet style, and they accommodate dietary restrictions well. Maybe we lucked out but January was a great time to visit! Highly recommend this lodge!

With river views, Milía Amazon Lodge is set in Iquitos and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. A patio with garden views is offered in every unit. Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.

Featuring a terrace, Libertad Jungle Lodge features accommodation in Yucuruche. Guests at the lodge can enjoy fishing and canoeing nearby, or make the most of the garden. It was great because we had one tour guide (Miguel) taking care of us the entire time. From pick up to drop off and we had so many great outings and adventures thanks to him ! I can really recommend this lodge.
