Located 2 km from Tarsier Conservation Area, Forest garden residence offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. So peaceful place run by family host! Everything was perfect for us. The location is perfect base for exploring bohol. We rented a scooter (which is almost new one), can go chocolate hill, loboc river, waterfalls, tarsier area easily. All the facilities were super clean and great! Pool is nice to swim. cafe next to the pool offer nice coffee and drinks. garden is peaceful. The host family is really kind and nice!! Can’t skip to mention about the food. Every meal of restaurant was awesome!! So we rearranged our schedule to eat at least one meal deliberately at their restaurant.

Set in Moalboal, Moalboal Eco Lodge offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a bar. All units include a fully equipped kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Really beautiful and tranquil place to stay. We especially loved the eco-friendly concept, being more mindful of our own footprint on the environment and the island. The hosts were extremely friendly and responsive, with lots of great recommendations for food, activities, scooter rental, etc. Breakfast was also very tasty :)

The hammock is great. The food was really good and fairly priced. There were fireflies! Super cool place to stay if you’re looking for a secluded break from the hustle and bustle.

With sea views, Hidden Valley is set in Siquijor and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The staff was really nice. It’s very peaceful around the area so perfect if you are looking for something quiet. Basic room and shower but everything that you need and they will make sure that you have a pleasant stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tongo Hills Cottages, and were blown away by this hidden gem. From the incredible mountain views to the warm hospitality (Zenia, Rosalie, Ate Marcel, the owners-Caroline...everyone!), our time at Tongo exceeded every expectation. We stayed in one of the cozy bahay kubos 'Adelfa', which featured beautiful native hardwood details, bamboo decor, and luxurious modern amenities like WiFi and hot shower. The room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable despite being small (my partner is Dutch). We also loved the cute attention to detail and add ons like: locally-made soap&shampoo bars, movie & bonfire nights.

Located 1.1 km from Alona Beach, Grand Cabins offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. A patio with garden views is offered in all units. The cabin was beautiful as well as clean and tidy. The location is remote and thus very quiet. The owner is a great guy and was always able to help with tour recommendations, and transport to the city as well as to and from the ferry. Breakfast was also delicious and their wifi was probably the best on the island.

Set in Bantayan Island in the Visayas region and Bobel Beach reachable within a few steps, Skott's Comfy Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private... We enjoyed this small, beautiful, intimate lodge. The rooms were spacious, absolutely clean, no evidence of ants which are everywhere in the islands. Bathroom ultra modern, air conditioning was heavenly. Our biggest surprise was although I read online that there was a shared cooking area ...I was pleased to see it was a four burner stove with oven! We home cooked almost every meal which is what my kids who traveled to meet us want to do so they can try American food. We even had access to a charcoal grill. We absolutely felt at home and wish we had more time to spend at this location. Beach access was just steps away. A lovely beach restaurant about 500 yards down the beach. Bicycles for rent next door. But the catch to all of this is it was quiet! secluded! Not in the middle of the hubbub. We made one trip to a market and got frozen and fresh meat, poultry and seafood, some canned and packaged items and fresh produce and we had enough refrigerator and freezer space to handle a weeks worth of food for 7. Mrs. Virginia and her staff were absolutely accommodating and always inquiring if we needed anything. I like to think we are low maintenance but other cultures don't necessarily see us the way we see ourselves....but I genuinely believe that we will be welcomed back!! We look forward to returning in 2026!

Situated a few steps from Tan-awan Beach, D downhill'Place offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The staff was amazing, very flexible and helpful recommending places to eat and assisting for any issue. Indeed, in my case I did not have enough pesos for the bus to cebu (also the bus stop is in front of the place) and they helped me reach the required amount and lended an umbrella while waiting… salamat po!

Situated in Panglao, 1.1 km from Alona Beach and 12 km from Hinagdanan Cave, Tavern's Room for rent features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. My stay in Tavern rooms was great! The room is spacious, everything was clean, the location is great. Close the tourist area, but far from the noise. But close to many restaurants and to the beach. The air conditioner worked really well, tv, and fridge. You have a table and chair, place to put your things. I could wash my clothes and had a place to hang outside to dry. Bed and pillows comfortable. The front porch in each room is very convenient. The only problem was the internet that didn’t work very well. Sheilla, the host, was completely amazing, very helpful, available and kind. Is possible to go to tours with good prices and she can take you there.
