During my recent trip to the Philippines, I had the pleasure of visiting some of its enchanting islands, and in the Pilar area, I found myself staying at the Forest Garden Residence, a small yet incredibly beautiful lodge. The place exuded tranquility and stunning natural beauty, but what truly made my stay special was the wonderful family running the place. Ms. Joanna and her daughter were some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. They were always ready to answer all my questions with love and passion, making navigating and exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. No request was left unmet, and their continuous assistance added a great deal of comfort and joy to my stay. If you're planning to visit the Philippines, I highly recommend staying at the Forest Garden Residence. It won't just be a lodging experience; it will be a unique human experience that will add a touch of warmth and hospitality to your journey, one that you will remember forever.

Set in Moalboal, Moalboal Eco Lodge offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a bar. All units include a fully equipped kitchen, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. I was looking for a nice place to chill and just relax after being in the middle of Panagsama road for a few days. I found exactly what I needed there. It had such a calm atmosphere - I enjoyed that there was a kitchen space and fridge to keep some snacks and fruits. The hammoks and especially the bed (!!!) is great. Also the outside bathroom was really refreshing. Showering under the stars :) The hosts were really lovely and accomodating, without losing a sense for privacy for their guests. They have such a great eye for detail, they do really great work in the community and for the street dogs. A nice to know (because it is not visable on google maps): The main road, Panagsama Rd. (Restaurants, bars and a few beaches are here) is only a 10-minute walk away through the little local village.

The privacy amongst the natural beauty of the mountains and nature is unforgettable. The staff were very helpful over the Xmas break and made sure my stay was comfortable. Super clean and lots of space. Enjoyed a bottle of wine ın spa overlooking the river

With sea views, Hidden Valley is set in Siquijor and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The food made by the chef at the restaurant is super good. The rest is also perfect.

Located 1.1 km from Alona Beach, Grand Cabins offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. A patio with garden views is offered in all units. The cabin was beautiful as well as clean and tidy. The location is remote and thus very quiet. The owner is a great guy and was always able to help with tour recommendations, and transport to the city as well as to and from the ferry. Breakfast was also delicious and their wifi was probably the best on the island.

Set in Bantayan Island in the Visayas region and Bobel Beach reachable within a few steps, Skott's Comfy Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private... Great House, Big Fridge, TV, Bed. Staff is very helpful. Jimmy setup our return (tuk tuk and car to Maya port from Hangaya. Additionaly - Water is free. If You want to visit City, dont take any driver, its very nice walk - its pretty close. Thank you Jimmy for your help, it was amazing!

The staff is really nice and the beds very comfy ! Great pillows and the ac works well. They give you a pair of slides, a towel, soap and shampoo as well as a toothbrush which is really nice. You can also have coffee and biscuits on the morning !

Situated in Panglao, 1.1 km from Alona Beach and 12 km from Hinagdanan Cave, TAVERN ROOMS FOR RENT features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. My stay in Tavern rooms was great! The room is spacious, everything was clean, the location is great. Close the tourist area, but far from the noise. But close to many restaurants and to the beach. The air conditioner worked really well, tv, and fridge. You have a table and chair, place to put your things. I could wash my clothes and had a place to hang outside to dry. Bed and pillows comfortable. The front porch in each room is very convenient. The only problem was the internet that didn’t work very well. Sheilla, the host, was completely amazing, very helpful, available and kind. Is possible to go to tours with good prices and she can take you there.
