Great location as it's close to a lot of activities and at the same a quiet area. Cozy living with all the basics in kitchen (even a waffle press). The owner showed us a beautiful path where we could walk the dogs, as those are hard to find in the winter.

The location is spectacular; right next door to a forest. There is peace and quiet. We went in the middle of winter and we had a lovely winter wonderland feel to our stay. We were three and the house was plenty big enough for us. Instructions that were sent to us were very clear and there were no issues in getting inside. The beds were comfy and the heating inside the house is also modern, so we were all nice and warm. The sauna is a traditional wooden stove one, so took time to heat up but it served us very well.

No noise or disturbance from other guests, BBQ facilities and decking with chairs and table.

Just 200 metres from Rättviksbacken Ski Resort, these cottages are peacefully situated, 3 minutes’ drive from central Rättvik. Each provides free Wi-Fi and a patio with views over Lake Siljan. We traveled to Rattvik for a gig at Dalhalla. The cabin we booked was clean and spacious - a good sized kitchenette, with pots, pans, a fridge etc. The setting is stunning, as it is up a hill from the town/lake, and so the view from the rooms is beautiful. You are expected to clean your cabin before you leave - which wasn't an issue as cleaning products are provided. There is also an extra charge for linen (which is fine, and makes sense given lots of people bring their own). We took the train to Rattvik and so didn't have a car - the walk from the town centre is about 15-20 minutes and is uphill. Would definitely recommend!
