Ideal location for tourists. Citadel hill, Maritime museum, Alexandre Brewery and lots of other places are just at the walking distances. Room decors were bit outdated though but I wouldn't worry too much about it because we used to come back to our hotel room to get some good sleep. Bed was comfortable and room was cleaned.

These are student dorms with single beds. My wife and I had separate rooms, but were connected and we shared the bathroom - which was just for for me and my wife. There are no extras. Very basic towels- 1 face cloth, one hand towel and one bath towel (how many more does one need for an overnighter?)Plenty of room - absent were the chairs and bureaus that you never use in a hotel. And (wait for it) the total cost was $89.!!!!!!!!!! Check out the room rates at the other Halifax accommodations

This is a good hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. It offers good value with breakfast included. You likely won't be terribly impressed by anything here if you are expecting 4 or 5 star but it's certainly nicer than budget hotels and motels and the downtown location is excellent. The value and location is really what this hotel is all about. We would have no problem staying here again.

I was staying at this hotel because I was moving and still working nights at the hospital. The day of check in my movers showed up early and I was requesting an early check in to get some sleep before my shift. Unfortunately, the hotel just was not able to make it work but they truly tried to be accommodating and were very kind to my situation. When I arrived for regular check in time they apologized greatly and gave me an awesome room to stay in. Would recommend for this hotel for anyone looking to stay close to the hospital.

The location was excellent, overlooking the harbour. It was also within walking distance of downtown. The accommodation was spacious and well equipped. Great value for money. Even with Covid limitations the breakfasts were good. Each meal was served by a staff member. There was an option to take your food to your suite or sit socially distanced in the dining area. The staff were very professional and helpful. I took the local bus from the airport, it stops a very short walk from the hotel.

Terrible. Check in surpassed 3 pm , even when we arrived at 20 am in the morning. Bathroom sink is out in the living room. Never have i seen a 4 star hotel with a bathroom sink outside the bathroom. Decor seems outdated. The place seems like some tried to make a 2 star motel 4 star. No matter what you do as long as core service stays the same it will always be a motel. Reception terrible attitude. Apparently there us NOTHING they can do . Why are they even there?
