The location was perfect - right in the heart of downtown Grindelwald!

Magical view and wonderful staff

The pool, view and spacious rooms

Fantastic room with gorgeous views to the mountains and villages. Staff was helpful due to my late check-in, preparing a way to access my room. Good breakfast served by a nice, polite staff. The room was pristine. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom has an average size. Reasonable price for the area.

Quiet location with great views and breakfast

This is clearly a family run hotel with the kind heart for customer as a friend with family in mind (and heart). The hotel culture brings the warmth in Christmas. An example is the hotel organized a Christmas eve event for the kids. Instead of just getting "presents", the hotel asked and try to know more about each kid, so the presents are tailored to the gender and age. The attention to details is impressive. As we checked out, the reception notice we will be travelling thus immediately offered drinking water and apples to keep our next journey comfortable. Rarely I have such experience.

Our second time staying at this beautiful accomodation! Christoph and team were so helpful and always asking if we were okay and our plans day to day. THANK YOU for the lil surprise for my daughter's 20th birthday! So amazed he remembered and put in his time and effort to turn our room into a welcoming surprise! Enjoyed the breakfast and everything else!

The location! It was great location.

the room is small but enough and comfortable, like the wastafel too in the room for easy access. the restaurant have a beautiful view, nice food

Beautiful lodge features upscale rooms, a terrific breakfast buffet included, a lovely common space, all with dramatic scenery.

Very beautiful and cozy! Staffs and breakfast was very good. Thank you for hosting:)

Our stay was great! The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful! They always treat you with a smile and really made our stay memorable. The rooms are spacious with a great view! Breakfast was great, one of the best we had during our stay in Switzerland. They also serve great cheese fondue in their restaurant. 100% recommend staying there especially if your a family with kids!

Great breakfast, Sauna area, and helpful staff!

We saw rhe reviews which were not very positive. However the hotel was very nice, the staff super helpful. We made a reservation for 2 adults and ended up travelling with our 15 year son. They added a bed without charging. The hotel was clean, beautifully located, Swiss style and is fully renovated. We liked it!

The place is amazing, very clean, and very helpful and friendly staff. It felt right at home when we arrived with warm welcome from Dominic and his puppy Remy!

Good location, close to the buss station that goes directly to the train, awesome local tips, extremely friendly staff. Loved the groove! Big, cozy rooms with mountain view, although it wasn’t specified! Shared refrigerator in the lobby downstairs and a bar that closes at 22:30. Amazing breakfast!

Everething was great, the room was super modern, a wonderful Mountain View. Very comfortable bed and pillows, good shower. The staff were really kind with us, we were on honeymoon, the room got all decorated by the staff. Good breakfast, can’t find negative point.

Our room had a view of the north wall of the Eiger mountain and close proximity to the train station. Friendly staff and they have a lounge and an elevator!

Amazing view of the mountains from the hostal. The facilities were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Plus I loved the breakfast. Highly recommend the place, good value for money.
