Nice big comfy bed in a big room with hot drink making facilities topped up each day. Giant window to look out over the lake. Hosts were fantastic, attentive and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away, couldn’t hear any noise from any of the other rooms, had a great sleep both nights we stayed.

Really helpful about local walks and facilities. Fantastic location for visiting the nearby lakes and hills. Pub with decent food and drink in easy walking distance. The accommodation is a developing project - a former guest house that the owners are updating and are refreshing well. We would stay there again

We have been to many hotels and B & Bs this year and this was our favourite place.

A very comfortable lodge which proved to be an ideal base for exploring the North West Lakes - an added bonus was a bus stop 3 minutes walk away which provided an hourly service into Keswick, thus saving parking fees. The Pheasant Inn was a 5 minute walk away and provided us with some good evening meals.

The geese arriving every dawn was just magic. We were sorry to leave! I think they are undercharging!! I have stayed in 5* hotels all over the world and Link House certainly did not disappoint! Despite this, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Pete and Katie are the perfect hosts, very attentive and welcoming. They emailed us before our stay with dinner recommendations and when we arrived gave us complimentary tea in the garden. The accommodation is extremely clean and the breakfast was delicious.
