Тhe place is very convenient to reach all points of the island. The host Marie is kind and friendly. She cooked for us tasty creole supper and fish. She came with us to La Vallée Des Couleurs Nature Park and to Albion lighthouse. She showed us cacao tree, cotton tree and help to find Domaine de Saint Aubin to see how vanilla grows. Karine and Jerome are very kind, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. We arrived later in the evening at short notice and Karine not only greeted us very warmly but also called a local restaurant to make sure we could have some food. The homes are positioned in a quiet affluent residential neighbourhood, just 15mins easy walk along a quiet straight road to the beautiful Albion beach. 1 min walk to a good supermarket and a great restaurant. Perfect for a female solo traveller like me with no rental car to have a few nights to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Felt very safe. I recommend staying at her place at the beginning of your trip so you get a lot of very useful information about Mauritius before discovering the island. Everything was super clean at her place and she prepared delicious breakfast for us even at 5am when we had an early flight. The balcony had a great sea view. They also have a nice pool and a terrace where you can enjoy the sunset.
