We stayed at this hotel during The Taylor Swift weekend and from the moment we checked in, the staff's energy and enthusiasm were truly unmatched. They were genuinely happy to help us and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of amazing. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the design super modern—everything felt luxurious and well thought out. Every detail was attended to with care—from assisting with our bags to meeting all our room service needs, even when we requested tea at odd hours of the night. They were always bringing us water and accommodating every little request with such kindness and professionalism. Thanks to the incredible team at Paradox, we had the best time and are so grateful for their thoughtfulness. Their kindness made an already amazing weekend even better!

The lakefront location and large, spacious beach are unbeatable--I've visited other hotels in the area and none has the location or beach that Richter Pass does. Our kids called it one of their best vacations ever, and the time spent at the beach and in the lake was wonderful and made memories for our family that we'll cherish for years to come.

We stayed in a harbour view suite and while a little dated decor wise, was clean, extremely spacious with magnificent views of Victoria inner harbour. The price we paid was really reasonable and overall the best accommodation we stayed in of the 10 different hotels we stayed at during our Seattle / Canada road trip. Also note ferries from Seattle / Port Angeles dock directly in from of the hotel so really convenient.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The property's location is superb, especially for those desiring proximity to Stanley Park. It is a classic hotel offering generously sized rooms, including a functional kitchen and convenient on-site parking options (both indoor and outdoor). The natural surroundings include plentiful bird activity, which may not be conducive to late-morning sleep-ins for those sensitive to noise.

We have stayed in all the little motels on "The Strip" in Penticton and pretty sure Slumber Lodge was the best (I don't 100% remember them all). Immaculately clean; reasonably updated; awesome location; big room; staff very friendly and helpful. (We had a couple of issues of OUR making and they could not have been more helpful). 100% would go back.

Good location for a half-way point stopover between Jasper and Vancouver. Rooms are updated and spacious. Good value if you are looking for a Motel-style accommodation for a single night. There's a nice lake for swimming in Blue River, 30km north.

Spacious 2 bed apartment with amazing bathrooms , toiletries and high spec kitchen. Excellent aircon (it was 32°). Huge comfy beds, black out curtains (good if you've got jet lag). Fantastic pool, hot tubs, sauna, mountain views, balcony, reasonably priced bar/restaurant given the high standard of hotel Given opportunity to upgrade few days before check in to 2 beds for almost no more money

I wanted to sleep after a long flight. It's very quiet here, comfortably dark. everything I need to relax. This is my first and positive experience. If there is an option, I will book the same hotel to sleep. You can sleep together, but I haven’t tried. breakfast is excellent

The lodge style of this hotel is really cool. The food in the restaurant was great and the rooms were comfortable. For us, it was a midway stop between Vancouver and Wells Gray Provincial park.

I can take my dog and it is absolutely no problem. There was a Rugby Team of teenagers in the hotel near me. I just mentioned it lightly to the front desk. They provided me a sleep kit - ear plugs and eye mask. So helpful!

it was a surprise that this hotel located on Burrard street with all the fancy and costly hotels is old-timey motel. the rooms were old-school, but very clean. bed was relative comfortable. very good cafe next to the reception, where you can grab a breakfast. 15-20 min walk from waterfront and several bus stops nearby. neighborhood felt relatively safe.

The location in terms of the area to explore was top-notch. I think it had one of the best laundry areas I have ever used in holiday accommodation - the dryer actually dried our clothes in a short period of time. The bed was very comfortable. The shower worked really well, once I’d managed to climb into the bath 😉

Nice small older hotel/motel style building with two floors and external stairs. We stayed in the King view suite and it was very nice. Full kitchen, living room with a fireplace, and a comfy king bed in the bedroom. The view is of the channel.

Clean room. More spacious than most motels. No stovetop, but had counter top space above the fridge to prepare cold meals and a table and chairs for eating. Recently renovated, nice smart TV. Shower had acceptable (though not amazing) water pressure, and had a telephone style shower head which you can hold in your hand, which was nice. Location is good, short walk to many restaurants, to a laundromat and to the harbour and aquarium. Price was better than most of the other accommodations in Ucluelet on the days we stayed.

It appears to be a motel wanting to be a hotel. Odd hallwall design where AC units were pumping hot air into. Had to keep AC on just to keep room cool enough to be comfortable. Staff are not on desk when I wanted to check out.

I have stayed in this hotel before and so knew what I was getting. It is a renovated hotel in a centrally located older building but the renovations have been done well and the rooms are clean and well maintained. It lacks an elevator which is a little difficult for the disabled person but the staff were superb in helping me with my luggage. The price is appropriate for the accommodation. I should also mention that the staff in the restaurant were extremely helpful and kind when I went for dinner after fasting for two days.
