Boasting a spa, a gym and a swimming pool, Hotel Salta offers plush accommodation in central Salta, right in front of 9 de Julio Square. The location could not have been better, it was right in the main square. The best of our stay was the staff, they were the kindest and most professional group of people, they were always a step ahead of our needs. Breakfast was good.

This boutique residence features traditional Argentinean country interiors built around a cobblestone courtyard. The decor of the place was sublime ! The room was furnished with dramatic antique pieces which really set the ambiance, yet it was elegant and spacious. The inner courtyard was beautiful and a joy to eat in. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff could make you eggs to order. The location was perfect, very close to the main town square yet quiet. Generally the staff was great and responded to our every request. Definitely would stay there again !

Located in Salta, less than 1 km from El Tren a las Nubes, Dazzler by Wyndham Salta provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything was excellent From the check in to checking out everything was excellent. In the frontdesk Yanni greeted us and gave us all the needed information to have a few great days in Salta. Breakfast was simple but enough. Swimming pool was cozy. Room clean and spacious. The bathroom was modern and functional.

Located in Salta, 4.3 km from El Tren a las Nubes, Casa Foresta provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Comfortable and stylish room. Everything in good order and working. We used the gym too that was nice to have.

Situated in Cafayate, El Porvenir Wine Lodge offers 5-star accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a restaurant. We stayed in a lodge which was amazing with views across the vines to the mountains beyond. The hotel location is perfect. It is right in the midst of the vineyard but only a short walk (10 minutes) to the main square of Cafayate. Breakfast was lovely and served outside the main building. The pool was great. There was a burrowing owl who had made its home right between the pool and the vines! I recommend both the wine tour, tasting and restaurant at Nanni. Tasting at El Esteco and El Transito was also great.

So much more beautiful then on the pictures!! Stunning place with amazing views, a private hottub on top and the best service you could wish for. Offering inner courtyard views, Luxury Appart is an accommodation set in Salta, 800 metres from El Tren a las Nubes and 1.8 km from El Palacio Galerias Shopping Mall. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and bright with a very well equipped kitchen and super clean. There was secure parking for our motorcycle and a great panaderia and Dia supermarket close by. Communication was prompt and the arrival and departure process easy.

MG Design Hotel Boutique features a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Salta. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. Good location on a quiet street. Beautiful decor and modern design. It is a real gem.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool with great panoramic views, Altalaluna is an upscale colonial-style mansion with a spa and free Wi-Fi access. Gourmet dishes can be enjoyed at the restaurant. This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here!

Legado Mitico Salta Hotel Boutique features a blend of traditional and contemporary design, set in a 1930s house in Salta´s historical centre. Great historic property, comfortable and great rooms. Great feel for the place and lots of history. Get a balcony room overlooking the inside courtyard.
