The luxurious Grand Hotel National is situated directly on the shore of Lake Lucerne, only a 5-minute walk from the train station and the old town. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and were so lovely to our 4 year old son spoiling him with chocolate every time we came back which made him very happy! The breakfast staff were particularly lovely and breakfast delicious. Upgrade on our rooms was very much appreciated and the top floor room had a wonderful terrace and view. Spa was great and so was the massage. Location great overlooking the water and a short walk into the main part of town, and staff very helpful on local activities and restaurants. Overall a wonderful stay!
