We loved the all of the plants, the views, the ease of renting e bikes and free bicycles available too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious as well.

Besides the most amazing staff team, the surrounding views and scenery in this area is breathtaking, the rooms are just as seen on photos, and the room views are one of a kind. Melody and her team provided not only a place for my grandparents to stay, but a lasting memory of Guilin and the people you can potentially meet along your travels. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, don’t second guess, just book! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Guilin HeShe Lakeside Resort, my grandparents are so thankful for your hospitality.

Xiao Ming made the experience an excellent one. He looked after us very well. We couldn't decide whether we should do the 4 hour Li River cruise but he suggested a different tour between Guilin and Yangshuo. We visited an ancient town, went on a bamboo boat up the river and stopped for lunch. The breakfast was a choice between Guilin rice noodles and toast. The villa was great and the electric ma Jong table and added bonus. It was cold because we came in Dec but each room had a heat pump so we were cosy

The Apsara Lodge has been praised by its friendly & caring quality service.It is located in a beautiful countryside 6 kilometers from the county seat, surrounded by mountains and a small river flows... This is the most beautiful setting for a hotel, overlooking the river and a view of the mountains it is so tranquil! The interiors are lovely and modern, and they offer free afternoon tea every day which was such a lovely touch. The staff were so kind and made us feel very welcome. They helped us to plan our itinerary, transfers and we hired electric scooters from them too. We couldn’t have asked for more, we just wish we had longer! (One thing to note is that the bikes are not free that are mentioned in the description- but they aren’t expensive either)

Location is fantastic lovely scenery and an easy, enjoyable walk to the Li River. Our unique room had an amazing view overlooking the stunning three-tiered pool.
