The villa is beautiful, and the apartment was really well fitted out and equipped. It is situated outside Eisenach, but there's a good bus service if you don't want to drive, and our hosts were very helpful about suggesting things to do nearby, and how to get to them.

We were able to put the kids to bed in the bedroom and still have a great space for the evening. The balcony was a great addition. The kitchen is extremely well kitted out and had everything we needed. We made use of the washing machine and tumble dryer which was fantastic. The kids also loved the music in the bathroom.

It was modern, well equipped,clean,convenient,& has a deck by the river. We enjoyed people watching while drinking wine on the deck! It’s a short walk to many restaurants,cafes, & grocery stores. The Old Town section of the city is also within walking distance. The owner was easy to contact and made sure that someone was there to greet us. We even had a video call with him while he was thousands of miles away!
