300 metres from Museum for the Memory of Ustica, Excelsior Station Suite provides a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in the Bologna Train Station district of Bologna. Very nice room, the host was really nice and he offered us a lot of free stuff and presents (free mini bar, pasta). We really appreciate the fact that we had the chance to keep our luggage there before the checkin. I highly recommend this.

A short walk to main Piazza, very quiet both during the day and night. Pizza place right in front of the facility. Lots of restaurants on and around the Piazza. Very clean and spacious room, with a walking closet, big bathroom, comfortable bed. Book with confidence.

After the last place where communication was difficult, I regretted that I booked another place with no one at a desk full time. However, Simonetta was readily responsive and was at the property when we arrived to check our luggage. Although the room was not made up, she allowed us to store our bags there and gave us the keys and demonstrated the proper use of each one. The room was elegant and large. The decorations were tasteful and included books, pictures, and vintage objects with no sense of clutter. The bathroom was also large and had a door off of the entrance to the room. This allowed the sleeping area to feel separate. The location was excellent. We were able walk to unique stores, like the store with pasta tools. We also walked to the University area for a museum. Several art museums were walkable. Simonetta gave us a list of suggestions for eating local food. The superintendent at the main portico was also helpful. He directed us to the taxi stand when we left and the price of the taxi was 50% less than the price given on the Free Now app. This was one of the best rooms I have stayed in. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again.
