Set within a renovated medieval building in the heart of Orvieto, Palazzo Piccolomini is a 4-star hotel a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral. Rooms successfully mix classical design with modern... The hotel is located in the old city area, so if you are traveling with the car, better if the car is not too big, since the streets are very narrow. We stopped right in front of the hotel to offload the luggage, but then you need to drive to the covered parking 5 mins away and walk back to the hotel (also maybe 5-7 mins with elevator - so no issues). The hotel staff is very friendly and kind, gave us good advises for the restaurants and the places to visit. The hotel room was of a good size and comfortable. Location is great, as everything then is in the walking distance. We would come back to this hotel.

So close to the top of the amazing waterfall. Staff were very friendly and had great communication. discounted tickets were available. English speaking was a plus.

They helped with everything, from restaurant info and booking, to easy parking, to arranging spa treatments. The breakfast was brilliant, with lots of local specialities to enjoy, as well as traditional Italian offerings... We had a brilliant time!
