We very much appreciated this after a long flight. The rooms are new and have everything you need including all toiletries and full kitchen and washing machine. The breakfast bakery next door has wonderful pastries and coffee. Thank you very much The Peninsula.

Palace Gate Hotel & Resort ligger i en restaurert villa i fransk kolonistil ved siden av Kongepalasset i Phnom Penh. Hotellet har utendørsbasseng og utsikt over elven Tonle Sap. The entrance and lobby gave the wrong first impression of this amazing hotel. A bit basic and dated, not a 5* impression. However from then on I can not fault anything. The interior decoration, the tropical feeling at the pool and the staff, all classically dressed in black with crispy white shirts gives a colonial feeling. What stands out: - great spacious room. Spotless and every night full turn down service. You don’t see that anymore - good water pressure in shower - very comfortable bed even with pillow menu - extensive breakfast buffet with any fresh coffee on demand. Perfect. - we only had food at the pool but every time surprisingly good and reasonably priced - the staff: I may say that this hotel has the best trained staff I’ve ever experienced. All of of them are attentive and will greet you anytime you see them. This hotel knows what hospitality is about - location : everything at walking distance

Aquarius Hotel and Urban Resort ligger bare 700 meter fra Tonle Sap-elven i hjertet av livlige Phnom Penh, og tilbyr et innendørsbasseng og gratis WiFi overalt. We stayed at Aquarius twice during our stay in Cambodia. Once we stayed 4 nights and once just a single night as a stopover. Both times were great. The hotel is clean and we like the style. The bed was very comfortable for us. It is on the firmer side, which is our preference. We slept really well. We didn't hear any loud noise or voices from the next-door rooms. We had the breakfast every morning. It has an a well stocked buffet with good variety and quality. There is also a rotating menu to pick from as part of the price. The breakfast set us up so well for the day that we sometimes didn't need lunch. The staff are ready to help at any moment. They had answers to any of our questions and helped us to book a bus after a last minute cancellation. The staff is also very friendly and made us feel very welcome, both times. The rooftop bar and pool are both excellent. We had cocktails a couple of nights at sunset. Great view of the city and good prices (plus a 2-for-1 happy hour). We spent some time in the infinity pool, which was a great way to cool down after a hot day in the city. The location is just off a main road but our room was quiet. No traffic or other noises to disrupt our sleep. There is no doubt that this is where we'd want to stay if we're back in Phnom Penh.

The location was great and convenient, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious at the morning.
