What stood out most was the service. Raj, Krishan, and Lakisanda were absolutely fantastic. They didn’t just do their jobs well—they went out of their way to make sure we felt cared for at every step. It’s rare to see that level of thoughtfulness and consistency in hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would love to return. This trip set a new bar for what great service looks like. Thank you to the entire team for making it so memorable.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful, and what truly made it special was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to take such great care of us. The cook was fantastic, preparing incredible meals that we’ll never forget. The staff also helped us organize drivers and day trips, making our experience seamless and enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless, with immaculate rooms and facilities. The scenery and views were breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. This part of Sri Lanka is truly a must-see, and staying at this hotel made our visit even more remarkable. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind, we felt at home immediately. Upon arrival we got a free upgrade to an amazing room and complementary dinners for the duration of our stay. The complex looked brand new and was well kept with great facilities and a lot of things to do. Breakfast, dinner and drinks were top notch and served with a smile. The SPA treatment was a joy and helped us feel reborn. This is by far the best experience I have ever had. If you are in Sri Lanka, make sure you stop by Argyle!

Everything, right from the property, room, location, surroundings, cleanliness to a very friendly staff. Our stay at Oliphant Boutique Villa by Amaya was nothing short of magical. The photos online simply do not do justice to how stunning the property is in reality—the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings, the lush gardens, and that charming old-world elegance seamlessly blended with all modern comforts. Despite delays in our check-in due to heavy rains, the staff were patiently waiting for us with warm smiles. From the very first moment, they made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. Every member of the team was humble, polite, and incredibly respectful. A special shoutout to Laxman, who took care of us throughout our stay. His attentiveness and kindness truly made a difference. We also travelled with our 5-year-old, who is quite picky with food, yet the kitchen staff went out of their way to prepare dishes he would enjoy. This level of personal care was deeply appreciated. The food was exceptional—far beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend opting for half board or full board, because every meal was a delight. We stayed for four days and honestly wished we had booked even more. Oliphant was the standout stay of our entire Sri Lanka trip. The peaceful atmosphere, stunning views, lovely heritage charm, and world-class hospitality make it a place we would return to without a second thought. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya—Oliphant Boutique Villa is an experience you won’t forget!
