Everything, literally EVERYTHING was perfect from the first moment we came to Lawson’s. The owner is the best example of the Philippinese hospitality - she helped us with renting a scooter which was delivered to the hotel, arranged a transfer to/from the hotel and one night we mentioned we want to try local seafood & the coconut wine and the next day she arranged a seafood lunch that was cooked at the hotel with the wine to taste. All of the staff was super helpful and caring! The most caring staff we encountered while traveling! The hotel itself is on the beach where you can enjoy the most amazing sunsets, relax under the stars at night and most importantly - can see the turtles while snorkeling in there. We got a family room on the first floor and it was SUPERB - lots of space in the room and in the bathroom, super comfy and big bed, comfortable pillows. It was THE BEST place we stayed during out vacation in Philippines!

And then you'll also be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the small island village with turquoise water and bird singing and can do a star gazing session while in the swimming pool in the evening. Thumbs up to Virly also for her delicious and homey cooking (we loved the baracuda fish). If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to rest in total simplicity, this place is just made for you.

This is the only hotel in the Philippines with a bath tub on your very own terrace! Fantastic personell with communication and attention to every single detail. Very modern standards, especially for being in the Philippines. Top notch cleanliness and nice add ons with rentable motorbikes on the premise. The owners also run a dog and cat shelter and have rescued so many sweet animals and put them back in pristine condition. This is a nice add on to the stay. Super welcoming service and pick up and drop of at the airport at an extra cost, but well worth it. Super nice honey moon package at an additional cost, well worth every penny with red water and roses in the bath tub.
