Staying at Puro Dão was a truly fantastic experience. The hotel itself is a beautiful building with a modern Wabi-Sabi/Japandi-inspired aesthetic, where concrete meets light woods and lush greenery. As soon as you enter the reception, your eyes are drawn to the stunning plants and the large windows framing the breathtaking views of Serra da Estrela. We loved everything about this place. The spa, in particular, is outstanding. We spent most of our stay enjoying the pool, which offers an incredible panoramic view of Serra da Estrela. Everything in the spa area was impeccably maintained and felt very high quality. We were especially lucky to see Serra da Estrela covered in snow, making it an unforgettable experience to relax in the warm pool while gazing at the snowy landscape. The staff also deserve special praise. Everyone we encountered was incredibly polite, helpful, and always welcoming us with a smile. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet was beautifully presented, and the food was delicious. Overall, Puro Dão exceeded our expectations in every way. A peaceful, stylish retreat with exceptional service and views; we would absolutely love to return.

The hotel lies inside a beautiful park, so there are lovely views all around, and it’s if you want to get out for a walk you’re already in a natural setting within the town. Our children enjoyed the pool, where you could swim both indoors and outdoors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and kind to our children. Breakfast had many options and we also had a nice meal at the restaurant in the evening.

Ideally situated in Coimbra, CBR Boutique Hotel - Coimbra features a buffet breakfast and free WiFi. Featuring a terrace, this 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Everything. This was our favourite stay in portugal. The staff are amazing, the details of the hotel like the mosaic entrance and art throughout the common areas were divine. The rooms were beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing. The breakfast wad lovely, especially the scrambled eggs. Theres was also cake and coffee from 3pm upstairs, delicious. Its the small things that make this place outstanding.

Hotel República Boutique Hotel has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tomar. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot tub. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Republica we felt welcomed despite being hot and dishevelled from a big day of hiking. This was one of the most friendly receptions we have had during our two weeks in Portugal. Nothing was too much trouble, including room service provided early from the Restaurant Menu when the All Day Menu was not available. We requested an extra night and again, no problem at all. Breakfast options at the restaurant were exceptional and the service, equally as good. The coffee machine in the room was awesome, the beds luxurious and the bathroom stylish and clean. The minibar was well stocked and an abundance of room snacks were available.

The spa, indoor pool, and outdoor jacuzzi are fantastic, especially after a day exploring Serra da Estrela, providing a truly relaxing experience. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. The restaurant also impressed us with well-prepared dishes that highlight regional flavors. Overall, this hotel is an ideal choice for anyone looking to relax, enjoy nature, and experience high-quality service in Serra da Estrela. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it.

We loved our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom included a bath which we relaxed in after a day in the pouring rain! We had a nice dinner at a local restaurant recommended by staff. After that we had a drink in the lounge. It was just what we needed! We had a pleasant breakfast. I was made scrambled eggs and my husband had a selection from the continental breakfast. We had a car and used their parking which was about a 5/10 minute walk away depending on how heavy your bag is! I would definitely return to this accommadation!

This may be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Plenty of free parking, Great staff, very accommodating. Very clean. And we could walk to everything in town.
