The Rose Hotel Chicago is a modern, seemingly brand-new hotel (despite it being a few years old) minutes away from Chicago O'Hare. It is 100% worth the extra few minutes (5-6 minutes) in a taxi or the hotel's complimentary shuttle vs. the Hilton O'Hare whose location does not make up for the hotel being really tired, run-down and really needing a renovation. Every single staff member with whom I was in contact at The Rose seemed to be generally happy to be working at the hotel. They were very flexible and willing to accommodate to my needs, from a very late check-in, a late check-out, as well as a few needs I had as I am pregnant. The lobby and restaurant have plenty of spaces to eat, relax and work. What was a terrible travel experience with delayed and cancelled flights was made so much better by this hotel and the team.
