The location the facility was clean. Exceptional staff was friendly upgraded. A room without asking would stay there again with no issues. And I would totally recommend it.

In Oregon’s wine country, this hotel is within a 45-minute drive of 40 wineries. It features rooms with 25-inch plasma-screen TVs. Downtown Portland is 10 miles away.

After a long travel day, we checked in at 9pm. The hostess fast, efficient and friendly. She recommended at excellent place to get a late dinner. Breakfast was excellent, both service and the food. My wife and I have traveled extensively, and both agreed that this my be the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

This was my second stay at Courtyard Portland Hillsboro. The rooms are always clean, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is nice and professional.

This hotel is centrally located in downtown Portland, near the Willamette River and a 15-minute walk to PGE Park. It features a gym and 43-inch LCD TV in all rooms.

Best hotel stay I've experienced by a mile. Staff were friendly, helpful, efficient, and attentive, yet not overbearing. Our room on the 11th floor was clean, modern, spacious, well-stocked, and provided a great view of the downtown (bonus points for providing empty mini fridges in the rooms rather than impractical minibars with fussy price sensors). Location was also superb—a 5-minute walk from the nearest MAX line, central to many great restaurants and attractions, and in a relatively safer area of downtown. Lastly, the overall value, even when including the destination fee, is great, especially when compared to other 4- and 5-star offerings within the same vicinity. Some have commented on the lack of transparency with regards to the destination fee; however, one of the staff, Lee (my apologies if I misheard or misspelled your name), was incredibly communicative about the perks included in the fee at check-in, and even went so far as to personally handle reserving the tickets to the Japanese Garden for us at the time and date of our choosing and phoning us to confirm when all was said and done. Personally, we thought the inherent value of the fee was well worth the additional cost. My partner and I can't wait to return to Portland and stay at the Bidwell again :)

Quiet and comfortable room, great location. I appreciate the shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom; so convenient. The fitness center was nice and not crowded while I used it.
