A good breakfast, (complimentary), except the coffee cafetière soon cooled. The Vietnamese meal in the evening was good, but the drinks took a long time to come. There is a very large standing poster in the entrance re the registration for parking, which was offputting. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Easy registration and self check-in process. Very comfortable and clean facilities that are kept clean throughout stay. Good quality breakfasts and plenty of choice. Professional hosts dedicated to providing a quality friendly service to their guests. Ideal location to access coastal walks in the area and only a 10 minute easy walk to the centre of Penzance, as well as Newlyn being an easy 15 minute walk.

The hotel had some excellent attributes, the grounds were lovely, staff friendly and very generously allowed us to park early and use facilities after we had checked out. Location to St Ives was great. Food was good and the bed was very comfortable.

None provided. It felt like a 2/3 bedroom house had been squashed into a 7 room accommodation to earn as much money from it as possible with a single bed & bedside table taking up the whole area. I'm unsure if this was designed for students, but it certainly wasn"t acceptablte for a registered disabled person of which you were made aware when the booking was completed.

The property was very clean and nicely kept. Really pleasant stay. The shared kitchen facility was a really nice edition and also maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. The property was also close to the beach and he town centre.

Hotel itself is a superb, extensive restoration project with comfortable, spotless rooms well designed from cell conversions. Quiet throughout, helped by thick walls so a good night's sleep. Parking OK, registration number needed. Discounted Jail Experience tickets, worth the visit. Library relaxation area is nicely done. Quality of food excellent, clearly great chef at work behind the scenes (the lovely Chapel) extending to pre-starters and pre-desserts, but a strange mismatch when it comes to service at dinner. Breakfast was fine.

If you're looking for the Ritz-Carlton,then no. If you're looking for an Inn with great relaxed atmosphere, clean comfortable rooms and good food, then yes. We had a lovely break here, just minutes from Penzance and we thoroughly enjoyed the friendly personal service.

The property is beautifully finished to a high standard, and is very well equipped - even plastic plates and cups for younger children. Wonderful welcome touch with the hamper full of delicious treats, great entertainment - we enjoyed Monopoly Cornwall Edition! It felt like we were staying in someone's home, or with family (not just a rental). The location is perfect for the town of Newlyn, which is full of lovely places to eat, the bustling fishing port, and the gallery. It's also a good spot for reaching other areas of Cornwall.
