I was a late check-in, and reception was easy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. While it is about 20 minutes outside Matane, it is worth the distance. I have stayed at multiple spots in town while traveling, and most are outdated and loud road noise. Motel M is in a small town and exceptionally quiet with modern appeal.

Excellent location, in a driving distance to Le Massif skiing resort. The hosts are very supportive and responsive. If you get a chance, say hi to their lovely dog Lola.

We had a lovely room with a balcony facing the river. It was very peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though it was a little chilly, we enjoyed a swim in the pool because it is heated to just the right temperature - what a treat! The hotel has a lovely architecture and is decorated with beautiful flowers. Coffee is offered in the morning and the front desk people try to be helpful. This was the nicest Motel we've stayed at in a very long time!
