Motel M is set in Saint-Adelme. Featuring a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel features family rooms. It was clean, modern, and very quiet. I was a late check-in, and reception was easy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. While it is about 20 minutes outside Matane, it is worth the distance. I have stayed at multiple spots in town while traveling, and most are outdated and loud road noise. Motel M is in a small town and exceptionally quiet with modern appeal.

Owners were very nice, they even helped us out in where to eat late night and even upgraded our room. Very accomodating even asked what time we would like breakfast.

Offering a panoramic view of the Saguenay Fjord, this motel is just 5 minutes’ drive from Chicoutimi and features a seasonal heated outdoor pool. A fridge is included in each guest room. We had a lovely room with a balcony facing the river. It was very peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though it was a little chilly, we enjoyed a swim in the pool because it is heated to just the right temperature - what a treat! The hotel has a lovely architecture and is decorated with beautiful flowers. Coffee is offered in the morning and the front desk people try to be helpful. This was the nicest Motel we've stayed at in a very long time!
