For a motel, this sure comes across as a decent affordable hotel. The place is clean, well maintained, parking is fine. I've stayed here twice on my trip, two different rooms, so a decent sample. The showers work, good pressure, warm works excellently. Paint and maintenance all look like it is recently well maintained. Breakfast was also the best I had anywhere, decent variation of choices, including several warm options. If they keep this up, this is a place I'll for sure get back to on my next trip through Houston. Best price/quality I've seen on my Texas trip, and I've seen a bunch of places. If you keep in mind this is a motel, you will for sure be contented and I expect as pleasantly surprised as I was.

Conveniently located just off US Highway 60, this motel features free Wi-Fi access. A cable TV is provided in each room at Friona Inn. The rooms also include a microwave and refrigerator. The room was spacious and had everything we needed; bathroom, sink, microwave, good size fridge, tv, sofa etc. The bed was super comfy and we slept very well. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.
