Absolutely stunning lobby, lots of places to chill, service is impeccable. Nicest place in a funky and beautiful town. Room was huge, went Japanese style. So well appointed with outdoor onson in room, assorted robes, so clean and comfortable.

Cozy room and good view is all you need for a magical white Christmas. We stayed comfortably and made use of the onsen facility both in room and outdoors. It's a real hidden gem if you want to be away from the rest of the world.

Location just next to Lake Akan, walking distance to Ainu village, I got an amazing lake view room too. Hotel gave me a gift when checking out.

Large Western room with all expected amenities. Friendly and helpful check in staff. Breakfast and dinner buffets were very good with a large selection. Location was near the boat dock and forest trails.

Located in Tsubetsu, 17 miles from Lake Kussharo, Moritsubetsu has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is available and Lake Mashu is 29 miles away.

The onsen came with different tubs of different water temperature with a private outdoor section. The restaurant offers splendid fine cuisine that you order about a week before arrival. The staff was professional, friendly and extremely heartwarming.

Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent; worth the upcharge. Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were very nice. They handled our limited Japanese with no problem.

Overlooking Lake Kussharo, Kussharo Genya Youth Guest house is a 20-minute drive from Mashu Station, and a free 2-way shuttle is provided with an advance reservation.

The location, the ambience and the rooms were all gorgeous. The owner makes absolutely delicious dinner and shows you the gorgeous places around the area. There’s a small library, a spacious common area, the internet works fine and the rooms are beautiful.
