Aside from the onsen that you will enjoy, they have free Yakult in the morning and free noodles and ice cream at night. So even there is no convenient store near the hotel, the freebies from the hotel are just enough. The location is great and just about 10 minutes going to Gotemba outlet and Gotemba station. If you want to relax and find peaceful place, then Dormy Inn Gotemba is best recommended.

The staffs were really helpful, especially Mr. Bishal, who speaks really good English and showed his professionalism when helping me to communicate with the car rental company, thank you Mr. Bishal. 2. The room is big and clean,, so is the bathroom. 3. The view is specular - full Mount Fuji view. My room has a balcony, with a table and 2 chairs, I can sit there enjoying the beautiful Mount Fuji view with a cup of tea in my hand, what more can I ask for? 4. If you have a car, the location is superb. It was built on a hillside a few minutes drive from the city, where you can find restaurants, convenient stores, Gotemba Premium Outlet is only 8 minutes drive away.

This is really a HIGH CLASS place. From the entrance through the lounge to the bathroom, it is extravagant. Front Desk Manager (Katosan) speaks excellent English and can direct you to some super restaurants. While the room in on the smaller side, but definitely not the smallest I’ve experienced, it too is elegant as well as practical with drawers, closet, TV, Refrigerator, and hot water pot. There are about 10 tonics in the bathroom ranging from hair tonic to aftershave — similar to what you would see in a First Class Golf Course in the men’s locker room. If you can reserve breakfast, do it; It’s great! Choose from 4 set menus and you will enjoy a fabulous feast. The Villa The Club is on the Golf Club campus. Beautiful views from the dining room, which is also quite fancy.

The private onsen and the complete traditional experience with yukatas, tatami rooms, futons. And most of all, the traditional kaiseki ryori dinner. Also the breakfast just as good. Amazing overall and the staff really friendly. To clarify because I had the same doubt, each room has it's own bathroom with shower. Then the onsen is separate. They reserve an hour for you to use privately. Be sure to arrive before 6pm so they can prepare your dinner.

We used this hotel as a base for our walk up Fujisan; the Fujinomiya trail can be approached via car and subsequent shuttle. The hotel has plenty of free parking, which for us was a great asset. The layout follows the Dormy Inn formula, which makes it extremely comfortable and Japanese. The Onsen (= hot spring) is very nice, and there is free soup at night with free soft drinks, and other little gimmicks which are much appreciated. We would happily stay here again.

The room is spacious with a balcony. The onsen is small but not bad. We could see the night scenery from the outdoor onsen. There is a reading corner serving free drinks on 5th floor. Parking lot is spacious. We could go to the parking floor directly from the room floor, which is convenient.

Wonderful location with stunning views of Mount Fuji. Lovely onsen, with hot spring looking onto Mt Fiji. Rooms are spacious, we loved the Japanese Riokan style. Very good evening meal, french style cuisine and good breakfast too. This hotel is a little pricier than our normal choice but it was well worth it for the spa, food and views. Helpful welcoming staff would definitely stay there again.
