This hotel is probably the best hotel in Kofu City area. It has hosted the past 3 Emperors when they came to the city. It also hosts national championship Shogi (Japanese Chess) matches. It has an incredible garden. Dining is in private booths in the restaurant, and the food was exceptional, although we only had breakfast there. The onsen (hot bath) was also incredible. Very nice facility.

The hotel has a lot of complimentary facilities that you can enjoy, like an onsen, a relaxation room where you can read and borrow manga, massage chairs, complimentary noodles in the evening and more. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast option, should you choose it, has a large variety of good quality and healthy food.

Beautiful & clean. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the traditional room, meals & onsen. Be hungry when you go - both the dinner and breakfast had too much food for me. I ate as much as I could. I wish I could have asked for a ‘small’ version of the meals beforehand. I was still full from dinner when we went for breakfast.
