Quick walk to the ski resort. Very clean. Yes, it was an old folks home at one point- but on a positive note, wide doorways sure made it easy to transport luggage and ski bags! They do have a very basic ski room at entrance, but more for just skis/boards and poles. I brought soft gear to my room and used very large bathroom to dry and hang gear. Restaurant is amazing! Included breakfast is great. The dinners I had were amazing. Staff is very helpful and kind. Laundry room- wash is free and dry takes about 300 yen (100/20min.) Sauna seemed new and very nice. Bus stop right across the street.
