The location and facility of ReLabo is great, and staff here are really helpful and warm. Public transportation during winter in Aomori could be challenging for visitors, and you can always get help from the hotel. I would like to express thanks for all the helpful staff, especially Araki (not entirely sure I spell the name right, she is a lovely girl with curly hair and glasses, speak perfect English), who helped us book a taxi in a very urgent situation. Historical Ryokan SENYUKAN features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 42 km of Lake Towada and 43 km of Sannai-Maruyama site. Exceptional service from manager and staff. We arrived after dinner time, and the manager, cheff and staff stayed on to serve us delicious food. Thank you very much. Will san New Zealand.

The house decor and atmosphere was a lovely space to be for a few days. We also received a free day pass to the little local ski field just behind the house which we really enjoyed. The additional touches left by the host were great too - local jam, apple juice, face masks and coffee.

Dormy Inn Hon-Hachinohe is situated in Hachinohe, 7.9 km from Hachinohe Station and 8.2 km from Fishery Science Museum Marient. Absolutely loved this Dormy Inn! Smiley and chatty staff, made check-in a breeze. They also gave good recommendations to enjoy some local dishes. Room was very decently sized for a single, didn't feel tight at all. It was clean, well stocked with amenities and PJ's were present too. Location was very good for restaurants and bars, only a couple minutes away from Miroku Yokocho. Bus stop from main spots in Hachinoe was 2 minutes away as well, JR train station was 15 min away. The onsen ... Oh so goooooooood! Spacious, peaceful, quiet, ideal for a soaking and relaxing.

Koganezaki Furofushi Onsen has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Fukaura, a few steps from Furofushi Onsen. Excellent Japan sea view of outside onsen with yummy buffet

Located in the Asamushi Onsen district of Aomori, Kaisenkaku is 19 km from Sannai-Maruyama site and 2 km from Asamushi Aquarium. The hospitality was amazing, when we arrived our bags were taken for us and we were led to the lounge where the attendant helped check us in there were free drinks and small snacks available as well. The room was spacious and the view of the coast was great. Though we spoke limited Japanese the staff was helpful and there were English instructions available. The dinner service and breakfast included were amazing too.
