The location and facility of ReLabo is great, and staff here are really helpful and warm. Public transportation during winter in Aomori could be challenging for visitors, and you can always get help from the hotel. I would like to express thanks for all the helpful staff, especially Araki (not entirely sure I spell the name right, she is a lovely girl with curly hair and glasses, speak perfect English), who helped us book a taxi in a very urgent situation. Historical Ryokan SENYUKAN features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 42 km of Lake Towada and 43 km of Sannai-Maruyama site. This place is an absolute gem. The staff, food, location and room were all exceptional. I would recommend this ryokan to anyone wanting an exceptional ryokan experience. The onsen was also fantastic and the warmest one we came across in our month in Japan.

Dormy Inn Hon-Hachinohe is situated in Hachinohe, 7.9 km from Hachinohe Station and 8.2 km from Fishery Science Museum Marient. Very clean room and facilities. Great service.

Koganezaki Furofushi Onsen has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Fukaura, a few steps from Furofushi Onsen. The onsen is unbelievable! My husband and I greatly appreciated the shared bath, which is not too common in many onsens. It made our stay even better. Dinner was exceptional and breakfast was delicious, too!

Located in the Asamushi Onsen district of Aomori, Kaisenkaku is 19 km from Sannai-Maruyama site and 2 km from Asamushi Aquarium. The hospitality was amazing, when we arrived our bags were taken for us and we were led to the lounge where the attendant helped check us in there were free drinks and small snacks available as well. The room was spacious and the view of the coast was great. Though we spoke limited Japanese the staff was helpful and there were English instructions available. The dinner service and breakfast included were amazing too.

Situated in Aomori and only 20 km from Sannai-Maruyama site, Yadoya Tsubaki features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice ryokan, with good private and public onsen available. The room was more than enough, with fresh towels and yukata each day I stayed. The staff were very nice, and I was able to ask them about certain things with combinations of English, Japanese and translation apps. I got injured before coming here sp the location is a bit far away from things, but very close to the station (2 minutes?). Note: not a negative as I chose this location because of the location originally.
