We loved the rooftop terrace. We loved the coffee, drinks, ice cream and nuts that were available. I particularly liked being able to choose the type of pillow I like. Location amazing. The onsen was wonderful.

Situated in Tottori, 48 km from Daijoji Temple, Kansuitei Kozeniya offers accommodation with a hot spring bath, a public bath and an open-air bath. I experienced the best hospitality I've ever experienced in a small Japanese town. The ability to use the private hot spring without a reservation was the best part. The breakfast was also really classy. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

When I came to Iwaso it was a perfect, the staff was very kind and helpfull and the room was big and comfy. We had 2 night stay it Iwaso and we really enjoy everything there. Stunning, authentic and clean room(s), kind and understanding staff who spoke to me slowly in Japanese to assist with checkin, and rules were reiterated in English on documents anyway despite Matsue being relatively rural. Absolutely beautiful view at both night and in the morning, I was shocked! Onsen came free with the stay. Zero complaints, the best stay of our trip around Japan.
