A beautiful traditional house, surrounded by a japanese garden in a quiet area, conveniently close to the railway station and bus stop. The landlady is charming and welcoming. It is well equipped witha complete kitchen. And private onsen ! Thank you !

The service and the attention to the details were exceptional. Staff were trained so well and professionally did their part (job). It was if everyone knew exactly what our needs were at the exact time.

Located in Awara in the Fukui region with Fujino Genkuro Memorial Museum nearby, Awara Onsen Matuya Sen Sen provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. We were delighted with our visit. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. It was one of three onsens we visited, and I must say it was as good as the others, which were more expensive. They were also very good about meeting us at the station with their limo bus. Very enjoyable.

Its beautiful and traditional facility is complimented by the exceptional service from all staff. The rooms are quiet, very clean and elegant. Most enjoyable is the Onsen bath. I would highly recommend.

Located 18 km from Phoenix Plaza, Grandia Housen offers 4-star accommodation in Awara and features a spa and wellness centre, an open-air bath and a garden. Japan hospitality at its best. Food was good. Lounge was good. Food was good. Nothing to complain. Only thing if they have coin laundry will do wonders for me.
