Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean, the bath and commodites were very nice. It is a very charming place for a very good price. Would love to come again

Incredible experience of a traditional Ryokan in Japan. Onsen facilities were perfect and allowed for mixed gender bathing which is perfect for couples. Dinner was excellent. The free transfer from the local Shinkansen station was on time and easy to arrange, made for a very relaxing trip from Tokyo.

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 47 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 15 km of Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. It was amazing. There was private onsen, amazing kitchen facilities, and really great rooms as well as the living room having Japanese kotatsu to keep us warm

Set in Minakami, 33 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort, Minakami Onsen Aratashi Minakami offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The staffs are very nice and helpful! The room was so big and comfortable. The breakfast were so good :) My toddler was very enjoy staying here.

This guesthouse is hidden gem during our 2 night stay at Kusatsu onsen with only 7-8 rooms & the environment is very cozy. The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

Offering river views, Minakamisansou is set in the Tanigawa Onsen district of Minakami, 36 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 39 km from Naeba Ski Resort. It is the perfect place if you want to get a relaxing trip with a traditional Japanese onsen. The location is quiet and with perfect picturesque views of the mountains from the onsen. The staff are really nice and accommodating, even though we don't speak japanese. The food is amazing and at the same level of a fine dining restaurant every breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Chinoki who served us everyday in English and helped us enjoy our meals everyday.

Situated in Kusatsu in the Gunma region, Soumeian features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. This hotel is close by Otaki no Yu, and reasonably walkable to the center of the village. The space was clearly remodeled recently and so the rooms are super nice, clean, and it's clear that the hotel has spent great attention to detail! I also really liked the ease of use of the onsen facilities. I have been to many japanese style inns and this was the most clean, orderly, and good working condition that I've encountered. I also thought it was nice that there are only 4 rooms here so it never felt busy or crowded. The staff were also all very kind and helpful. They made a great breakfast both days, with good variety of dishes and high quality of ingredients. I had a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!

Set in Nakanojo in the Gunma region, Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. We stayed at Kashotei building, and our room has a private onsen, which I highly recommend if staying as a couple. The room was more spacious than I thought, and there is plenty of room for luggage and bags. Pyjamas and yukatas are provided, which you can wear to breakfast and dinner, which makes the stay very cosy. There are welcome snacks and drinks available both in our room, and also at the lounge. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and of excellent quality, we enjoyed the in-season ingredients which are from the local area. Every dish was made with care and presented beautifully. The public onsens across the 3 buildings are clean, well-maintained and very relaxing. The buildings are connected and we didn't need to go outside to access them. Staff at check-in also provided us with a map and explained how to get to the baths. Excellent ryokan, definitely need to visit if you are planning to visit the region.
