We had a wonderful stay at this charming traditional ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen. From the very beginning, Reiko, our host, was absolutely amazing. She warmly welcomed us, allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in, and took the time to explain everything about Kinosaki Onsen in great detail. She shared helpful tips, local insights, and even helped us plan how to make the most of our day and how to wear the Yukata. Throughout our stay, Reiko made sure we felt comfortable and truly valued. She even made restaurant reservations for us and surprised us with a delicious Japanese cookie. Such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel very appreciated. The ryokan itself is a beautiful, close to to two ( and also our favorite onsen). It’s a traditional old house full of charm and warmth, exactly what you hope for when visiting Kinosaki Onsen. It had everything we needed and more. We felt at home from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We can only recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic, relaxing, and heartwarming ryokan experience.

Set in Kinosaki, 2.6 km from Kinumaki Shrine, Akaishiya 城崎温泉旅館 赤石屋 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking and a garden. Fantastic hotel renovated meticulously to a superb standard. The friendly staff helped us get settled so we could do what we came for - to relax.

Yumoto Ueyama Ryokan provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 15 km of Himeji Castle and 42 km of Omiya Hachiman Shrine. Excellent experience! Though a bit distant from Himeji station, the shuttle service provided by the hotel eased the inconvenience of transportation. Staff were kind, food was delicious and representative of Japanese gourmet. The environment was magnificently featured with natural woods and the building itself marks the history and heritance well.

Situated in Toyooka, 2.8 km from Kinumaki Shrine, Kinosaki Onsen Hanakouji Saigetsu features accommodation with a hot spring bath and a public bath. It’s located right next to the train station. The staff are very nice and accommodating.

A recently renovated ryokan in Toyooka and within 2.8 km of Kinumaki Shrine, Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen- features a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. The service was exceptional, the attention to detail the staff is unlike anything I have experienced before. I really recommend this Ryokan to anyone visiting Kinosakionsen. Enjoy!

Boasting an open-air hot springs bath and spacious garden, Arima Grand Hotel is located a 10-minute walk away from Arima Onsen Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Dinner was truly fabulous, with a delightful menu that exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was more standardized, but still enjoyable. The onsen facilities were a highlight—clean, spacious, and very relaxing. My room offered a stunning panoramic view of the mountains and the hotel pool, and it was immaculate throughout my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone (with or without kids) looking for a relaxing retreat.

Kobe Minato Onsen Ren sijaitsee 5 minuutin taksimatkan päässä Sannomiyan ja Motomachin asemilta. Meals were excellent. It was the best buffet I've had. It was easy to get to the downtown district of Kobe and a bonus that it was easy access to the airport limosine bus to get to kansai
