Set in Kitaibaraki, 19 km from Hitachi City Kamine Zoo, ELM On The Beach offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. We stayed in the villa, which has a living room and bathroom on the ground floor and a bedroom on the first floor. The accommodation had everything one could need – we even found coffee and some spices, which was a lovely touch. Thank you for that! Cleanliness was also perfect. The owners offer breakfast for an additional fee. One thing to note: the dining table is Japanese-style, so you sit on the floor rather than on chairs. The beach is just a one-minute walk away, and you can enjoy long walks along the promenade or simply relax with the sea view.

Great hotel with services I didn't expect - free beautiful clean onsen, ice cream in the afternoon, probiotic drink in the morning, wide selection for breakfast, free noodles in the evening, great location for my needs. Next time I will look for this hotel brand again when traveling in Japan.

The owner was able to get someone fluent in english to help guide us around the place. I came to Oarai for the Girls Und Panzer pilgrimage, and this hotel suited me well. It has its own mini GuP museum room, filled to the brim with various memorabilia. Even its slippers were GuP theme🤣 Other than that, the place was amazing. An indoor onsen for you to relax after walking around oarai for the whole day. It is also quite close to the aquarium! The room was nice and had a comfy feel, and was very clean too! There were also free drinks for us to enjoy, with various other amenities provided. Overall our stay here was great, even for just one night. How i wish i could stay longer! Big thanks again to the owners and I will definitely look to come back once again when I come back to Oarai!
