Located just 9.2 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine, Kirishima Momijidani Seiryuso features accommodation in Kirishima with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as luggage storage space. The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

It was our best accommodation during our 12 days in South Kyushu!! The owner was super friendly and helpful to recommend food and make reservations for us. They had a cute corgi that we get to play with time to time. They also had a in house onsen which is simple and cosy if you feel like having a dip. The room is huge and so comfortable to sleep in. We really enjoyed our stay very much here! Will definitely stay here again if we return to Kirishima

Live here like local Japanese do features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 40 km of Kagoshima Chuo Station and 41 km of Kagoshima Station. This is a dream place! The house is newly renovated and refurbished with impeccable taste. There are two traditional rooms available, both spacious, clean and very quiet. The onsen water is available at the house and there’s a small bath outside to relax! The house is so clean and organised, and Yuki the host is just amazing. He provides you with anything you need, including laundry and towels. We spent two wonderful days there and felt fully recharged. Unfortunately the weather was really bad but Yuki recommended alternative places to visit! There are many beautiful onsen as well as izakayas on a walking distance! We will definitely go back to enjoy this unique environment once again!

Yurian is located in Ibusuki, 10 km from Ibusuki Onsen. There is a pool and hot springs bath on site. Pool and hot springs bath water are replaced 2 times a day. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Located at the edge of a peninsula on Yakushima Island, samana hotel Yakushima offers great views of the ocean and Mount Motchom. The staff was incredibly helpful and genuinely cared about us!! I really couldn't say enough about how amazing the staff was here!! The room was really nice with an epic view as well as the onsen sunset and sunrise views over the ocean from the onsen and room!

Dormy Inn Kagoshima offers modern accommodations with free wired internet access. Our room was much more spacious than other hotels in Japan. The onsen/bath house was amazing with a sauna and cold plunge which we loved. The location was excellent with easy access to the station and everything we wanted to see in Kagoshima.
