Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

The room, itself, was minimal and elegant - we particularly enjoyed the concrete bathroom and high ceilings in the bedroom. We also really enjoyed the fact that it did not have a TV, as we could just relax in peace and quiet after a busy day. You could tell the owners put a lot of care into the place.
