Very stylish, comfy beds, very nice Onsen, good breakfast. Above all, a fantastic concierge service, getting us a car on Yakushima when we couldn't find any availability - the concierge staff made sure the next shift was aware of developments and really went the extra mile.

Everything, place is very clean, conviniently located and really enjoyable to stay in. The host is super friendlly and explains everything when you arrive. Kirishima Momijidani Seiryuso provides a hot spring bath and a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kirishima, 13 km from Ebino Plateau. The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. This hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

Offering a garden and sea view, 2R Yakushima is set in Yakushima, 32 km from Yakusugi Land and 50 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. I and my mom really loved our time here. Tano was super friendly and helped us plan our days and recommneded us some great spots to visit around the island. He also kindly helped to adjust some breakfast dishes for my mom, which we really appriciated. The place looks just like the photos — clean, beautiful and very comfortable!!! Our room was big and minimal but still really cozy. The guesthouse is in the south, a bit quiet and close to hot spring in the sea. Breakfast was sooo good, especially diverse breakfast everyday. We stayed 3 nights and honestly wish we stayed longer. Really recommend this place — such a little gem on Yakushima! 💛

Set in Kirishima, the recently renovated 貸切温泉宿 Shiny inn Kirishimaシャイニーイン霧島 offers accommodation 3.6 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 17 km from Ebino Plateau. Everything! Spacious, super clean, well, wonderful view, the owner was responsive and super nice, helped us with anything we needed. Everything about it was so convenient and comfortable. So many outlets, great Wi-Fi, washing machine, and of course, the highlight - a private onsen! Really a wonderful stay.

温泉の別荘 久遠霧島 is located in Kirishima. With free private parking, the property is 4.1 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 18 km from Ebino Plateau. We loved the onsen bath, comfortable and well equipped house and the large decking and views.

Situated in Ibusuki and only 47 km from Kagoshima Chuo Station, 指宿 潮音 Ibusuki Shione features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Hospitality, cleanliness and room layout. Onsen in the unit was an unexpected surprise!

1.3 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine in Kirishima, Ryoutei Ryokan Takechiyo Kirishima Bettei features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and public bath. Very comfortable room and nice public bath. The staff were also very helpful and friendly; we got there after sunset and had trouble finding the place in the dark (please make plans to reach before it gets dark!), but the staff were keeping a lookout for us in the cold at the main gate. Appreciate the hospitality and effort to communicate with us even though we did not understand Japanese. The food was also exceptional! Best kaiseki we’ve had! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
