This is one of our favourite accommodations during our one week trip in Kyushu. The location is perfect, esp if you had a car. Less than 10 minute drive to the Saraku Sand Bath, supermarket and JR station. It's also close to Ryugu Jingu and Tamatebako Onsen. The room has a big balcony with ocean view, and it was superb to watch the sunset and sunrise. The room has enough amenities and cooking equipments to make a small meal. The beds are large and comfortable. The natural onsen was a surprise bonus, and it is true onsen because we could smell sulphur from it! The host, Takada-san, showed us spectacular hospitality from the very beginning. The responses were always quick and warm. We deeply feel the love Takada-san have for Ibusuki. Ibusuki is such a lovely ocean village with high quality onsen, and the best sashimi I have ever had (among my 5 visits to Japan). We highly recommend everyone to visit Ibusuki and stay at Takada-san's accommodation!

We had a lovely stay at this traditional Japanese house before heading to Kagoshima Airport in the morning. The host was very kind and spoke good English, so communication was easy. The private thermal footbath was a wonderful touch and made the experience even more relaxing. The location was perfect for our needs - several onsens nearby, the airport shuttle bus stops almost right in front of the house, and there’s a Lawson convenience store just around the corner. The host even kindly let us use the washing machine for free and helped us with the settings. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel was amazing. since we told we were on our honeymoon the hotel upgraded our room to a private outdoor onsen. the facilities were great. the stay was very romantic and we should have stayed more nights! dinner and breakfast were very delicious. very recommended.

Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. This hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

Ubytovanie 2R Yakushima sa nachádza približne 50 km od miesta Shiratani Unsuikyo. Ponúka výhľad na more a má terasu a rýchlovarnú kanvicu. The hosts were friendly, hospitaable, and very helpful - and they made a simple yet delicious and balanced breakfast. The coffee was amazing! The room, itself, was minimal and elegant - we particularly enjoyed the concrete bathroom and high ceilings in the bedroom. We also really enjoyed the fact that it did not have a TV, as we could just relax in peace and quiet after a busy day. You could tell the owners put a lot of care into the place.

Spacious, super clean, well, wonderful view, the owner was responsive and super nice, helped us with anything we needed. Everything about it was so convenient and comfortable. So many outlets, great Wi-Fi, washing machine, and of course, the highlight - a private onsen! Really a wonderful stay.

Ubytovanie Ryoutei Ryokan Takechiyo Kirishima Bettei sa nachádza v destinácii Kirishima 15 min. chôdze od miesta Kirishima Jingu Shrine a 16 km od miesta Ebino Plateau. Very comfortable room and nice public bath. The staff were also very helpful and friendly; we got there after sunset and had trouble finding the place in the dark (please make plans to reach before it gets dark!), but the staff were keeping a lookout for us in the cold at the main gate. Appreciate the hospitality and effort to communicate with us even though we did not understand Japanese. The food was also exceptional! Best kaiseki we’ve had! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
