In a prime location in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho is within 1.7 km of Kyoto Station and 1.8 km of TKP Garden City Kyoto. This hotel was basically a whole wellness experience dream come to life! The staff were so nice and friendly, and the amenities were everything you could possibly need and more. The onsens were beautiful, immaculate and clean - and the hotel breakfast was definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The late night soba hit the spot and the snacks were endless (popsicles, yakult, drinks in the lobby machine). Also loved the super comfortable yukatas and pjs that the hotel provided. It’s easily walkable distance from a JR station (just one stop away from Kyoto station), and there are multiple bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk that can take you all over Kyoto. It’s across the street from a 7-11, and right next to one of the prettiest parks!

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Onyado Nono Osaka Yodoyabashi is located in Osaka, 700 metres from Asahi Seimei Hall and 800 metres from Monument of Kajimaya Head House. The onsen made my trip! The cold pool and sauna were amazing too. Room is small but that is expected, good value too.

Attractively set in Kyoto, Sora Niwa Terrace Kyoto features air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers a bar. Second time staying at this beautiful hotel. First things first, the staff are just wonderful. The Onsen has an incredible view (be sure to stay two nights, as there are two Onsens. But only one with a view. Gender is swapped each day. The rooftop bar with foot baths is a lovely touch. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is perfect. Again the staff are incredible. We will never stay anywhere else in Kyoto. Can't wait to return!!

Attractively situated in the centre of Kyoto, Onyado Nono Kyoto Shichijo Natural Hot Spring features buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Great Japanese style hotel. Very clean and neat. Big plus is an onsen that is open whole night.

LIBER HOTEL Osaka features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the Osaka Bay district of Osaka. We had connecting rooms, yay Buffet breakfast was superb Buffet dinner was not bad too.

Featuring natural hot spring baths on site, Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, just a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. Egy hihetetlen jó hangulatú tradícionális szállás Nara központjában. A szoba bár pici, egy rövid kiránduláshoz megfelelő, és nagyon kényelmes. Japán utazásunk egyik fénypontja volt.

J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. Can’t be more fun to stay in this hostel. Everyone was so lovely. I did enjoy the personal onsen

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. the staff was so wonderful, they took so many pictures of me in my yukats and as a solo traveler that means a lot! so many beautiful photos!

3.3 km from Kinumaki Shrine in Toyooka, Migumiya Ryokan offers accommodation with access to a hot spring bath. It is located 4.7 km from Seto Shrine and features free shuttle service. The owner spoke a bit of english and was extremely helpful. She gave recommendations on the onsens to go to, how to wear the yakutas, and much more. The ryokan is near a lot of onsens that close late. Boots and umbrellas are provided to help you navigate the small town. The rooms had adequate heating and was very comfortable. Highly recommend this ryokan!
