Ideally situated in the centre of Kyoto, ALA HOTEL KYOTO features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a restaurant. The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from Kyoto station. Hotel is safe, very well maintained, clean and the staff are very friendly. They were very helpful is guiding me with my planning, in regards to how I should route my interests. There is a 7/11 across the street. A very nice ice cream place right next door and loads of dining options around the hotel as well as loads of options within the station. The rooms are well equipped. Separate shower, bath tub, toilet and sink. The size of the room is pretty good by Japan standards. There is a small couch in there, as well as a desk and chair. They have an onsen as well and a gym. Plus laundry facilities. Would highly recommend this hotel for its location, room, amenities and all.

In a prime location in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho is within 1.7 km of Kyoto Station and 1.8 km of TKP Garden City Kyoto. Everything was good! 10 out of 10

Our room with a private onsen was absolutely amazing, and the kaiseki dinner was unforgettable — truly a culinary experience.

Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, excellent service, great rooms, very good food (also for vegetarians!). Massage was off the charts, and they offered great excursions that were quite exclusive (To-ji temple private tour highly recommended)
