The second we arrived, of course we felt the lovely Japanese hospitality by the staff. The Ryokan was as expected, absolutely beautiful. The private Onsen was super relaxing and calming. The breakfast in the morning was meticulously prepared, so many colours and tastes. Beautiful view of the mountains!

BeppuOnsen Hotel Sansenkaku, a property with an open-air bath, is situated in Beppu, 20 km from Crasus Dome Oita, 700 metres from Beppu Station, as well as 12 km from Oita Station. We stayed in the Japanese western onsen bedroom and it was the best stay we had in Japan. Onsen was incredible and beds were super comfy

Situated in Yufu, 44 km from Crasus Dome Oita, Bessou Konjakuan features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. As a family of four, we stayed at a handful of hotels during our time in Japan. This was our favorite by far. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here, and it was nothing short of magical. Since our time was short, we barely left the resort. Our personal onsen was dreamy, and we also had access to the communal pool. The meals were beautiful and gave us the opportunity to try traditional dishes. Our room was very clean, cozy, and spacious. We had a Japanese-style room and found the futons to be very comfortable. There was a TV in the room, but we didn't feel the need to turn it on. The wifi was strong enough for all our needs as well. Although our Japanese is very limited, the staff made an effort to communicate with us. This was very much appreciated! We relied heavily on Google Translate. As parents with teenage boys, it's difficult to find something the entire family enjoys, but this was it!

Good location, very good breakfast spread, shampoo, hair conditioner amongst the best that we come across in 3 weeks travel across kyushu.

Amazing property and terrific value for money. The room we stayed was seperate from the main building (a 2’ walk away) had an onsen bath + outdoor onsen areas and was simply stunning. Such a luxurious feel! You’re own private spa. Good location as well - walkable distance from the sights. (Hells of Beppu etc..) Would highly recommend.
