We were super lucky with the weather and got the most beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our balcony. The bathtub overlooking the lake and Mt Fuji is an absolute must!

Located right in front of Lake Kawaguchi in the Mount Fuji area, Fuji Lake Hotel offers spacious accommodations with mountain or lake views. We had 1 night with lake view and 1 night with fuji View, both were amazingly stunning! The hotel has a small garden that was beautiful They also offer snacks and drinks in the lobby which was very nice I strongly recommend taking the breakfast/dinner because it was great

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive - everyone from the shuttle bus driver and receptionists to the restaurant staff. Mount Fuji is visible from the rooms and also from the nice little onsen on the top floor. The shuttle bus service is very convenient to and from Kawaguchiko station. Both the dinner and breakfast were great and plentiful. The view gets a bit better as you go further along the lakeshore away from Kawaguchiko station, but we found Hotel Asafuji to be good value for money and the wonderful service made it a very pleasant stay.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. We went on our honeymoon for 1 night - it would be more! All of our expectations were exceeded. The room (we stayed in one of the villas) was impeccable, the service was perfect, and the food was wonderful — the kaiseki dinner is absolutely worth it, and the breakfast is very good as well. A truly memorable experience!
