The sight was great. The room was huge and comfortable. Walking in the hotel and having breakfast wearing the provided yukata was a soothing experience. The staff was helpful and available.

Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Fujikawaguchiko, Fuji View Hotel is a ryokan surrounded by views of the garden.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at from start to finish. Very memorable experience. Courteous service, bus shuttle to and from the train station, clean room, plentiful amenities (outdoor onsens were amazing and offered a view of the lake), options for upgrades (e.g, meal reservations with multi-course breakfasts and dinners), cozy & unique decor.
