Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Gorgeous setting, staff and facilities were exceptional, including a free shuttle to the station (I didn’t use as the scenery was lovely to walk and I had already shipped my luggage). Amenities and facilities were more than I had hoped for and the price included breakfast, a light dinner including drinks and snacks.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Rooms are renovated in Japanese style and I loved it. Views are impressive. Taken the first coffee facen the Fuji in your room is a total experience. The staff was so nice. And I highly recommend the dinner in the hotel!!!

Located on Lake Kawaguchiko. Traditional experience with an onsen and traditional tatami mat rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a free shuttle to take you from the hotel to Kawaguchiko Station.

Located right in front of Lake Kawaguchi in the Mount Fuji area, Fuji Lake Hotel offers spacious accommodations with mountain or lake views. Short walk from Kawaguchiko Station! The hotel is rustic and Japanese style and we can wear ryokan to our breakfast place. The hotel staff were friendly and their service is exemplary. They went an extra mile by driving us to and fro to help us get on the highway bus on time even the shuttle bus runs ended for the hotel! Highly recommended for those who want to wake up in the hotel room in front of Lake Kawaguchiko!

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Exceptional dinner and breakfast, good location, and the staff were very helpful.

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Excellent location with view of Mt Fuji and the lake. Very cosy and nice ambience in the hotel with live singing by the bar, a library full of books, free hot drinks in the morning and chilled drinks throughout the day. Both indoor and outdoor Onsens were good. With view of Mt Fuji. Bed was very comfortable in the room with little luxuries such as chocolates, Nespresso and quality tea bags. Balcony to enjoy the view was fantastic. Free bikes for rental to cycle round the lake-- such a great way to explore. Staff were all helpful and friendly with super professional vibes. It is 4 star small hotel instead of 3 star. Totally worth the price. Will definitely stay again.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Great traditional Japanese style tatami room. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were great, and the food was amazing. Private outdoor bath was an amazing experience. 10/10 will return one day
