They are willing to help with everything. They know some English so nothing is a problem for foreigners. The foot bath on the roof is free and amazing with epic Mt. Fuji view. Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... The hotel is exceptional, we booked the traditional Japanese room, with tatami floor and breakfast and dinner. The onsen/hot baths were very pleasant (we only used the ones on the top floor), and even booked the private onsen at a fee, so we can enjoy privately as well. The dinner was amazing, and definitely a highlight of our trip.

Our stay at Fuji Onsenji Yumedono was the highlight of what was already an amazing two week holiday in Japan. We stayed in the Miyabi room and it was phenomenal - the traditional aesthetic combined with every amenity you could need. The private onsen was amazing, the Japanese breakfast a wonderful experience. Finally, the staff were courteous, polite and had great recommendations for restaurants and things to see. We could not recommend this property enough.
